New Player Guide

If you are reading this, chances are you are a new player. This guide will teach the the basics of PureLandscape RP and show you a handful of features and factions in the game.

Lets start with the storyline. Two years ago, the Western Workers and Eastern Settlers were drawn to this land with one purpose- To obtain the valuable minerals the land had to offer. Although, unlike the Western Workers, the Eastern Settlers planned on living off the resources found in this land. They wanted to live off the land, rather than drain the land for only the purpose of income. This difference caused anger amongst the two sides, until eventually, war broke out.

The Factions And Their HQ:

Eastern Settlers - These people are quite friendly. They don't mind lending a helping hand, and seek to live off the land. They want peace more than anything else.







Western Workers - These men and women seek nothing less than a fortune. They care nothing of who they kill or what they destroy. They have been known to seek peace, but only to bring them further to their goal of draining the resources from the landscape.





The Arctic Wolves - As you might imagine, food and material possessions are sometimes scarce. Those who have bills to pay and mouths to feed may turn to a less heroic way of life... Thieving and Murder. The main band of those that choose this path call themselves, "The Arctic Wolves".





Cross-Hill Town Members - Caught in the middle of this war is the members of Cross-Hill. The people of this town usually don't want part of this war, but if they are caught in the midst they may be willing to fight. The town offers quests for daring members of the city that require some excitement in their lives. Some key members of the town include the mayor, the sheriff and the guards of the town.

Key Features:

Questing System - The questing system allows members of the city take part in various events of their choice that shape the face of the world they play in. It could be anything from picking up trash from the city's streets to bringing a criminal to justice.







Scavenging - Constantly spawning items reward you for exploring the landscape. Scrap them for a few coins, or use them for RP.



Shopkeepers - You don't have to scavenge for everything you need. Shopkeepers may carry what you need, and will be willing to give you what you need to survive in the world. Of course, everything comes with a price...
